Display Testing

Klein Instruments entered the display testing market in 1983 with its pioneering product, the Klein Convergence Gauge. Located in Portland Oregon and a Tektronix spin-off, the purpose has always been to make life easier and better for engineers and technicians by developing powerful and easy to use test equipment. Since that time, Klein Instruments has become the world standard in convergence error measurement devices and developed a name for itself as a quality manufacturer of a wide variety of display testing equipment.

Klein's innovation continued in the 90's with the Klein VPG Series video pattern generators. These powerful, yet easy to use devices along with the companion pc program have come to represent how powerful and easy to use display testing equipment can be. When traceability and ISO 9000 requirements came along, Klein provided the documentation. Since then, calibration certificates have been included with all Klein products. In addition Klein provides the necessary recalibration services and specifies service intervals based on usage.

In 2000, Klein introduced the K-1 Colorimeter. The K-1 marked the first in a series of colorimeters that were designed with accuracy and speed in mind. Since then the K-10 and K-8 have been introduced as well as NIST traceable documentation. The Klein Colorimeter software continues to provide new features and new levels of sophistication. Klein Instruments will continue to evolve and strive for products that are accurate, fast and easy to use.
